David Freeborn
I am a philosopher and physicist at Northeastern University London. My research combines scientifically informed philosophy with philosophically informed science, focusing on Bayesian formal and social epistemology, artificial intelligence, computational modelling, and the philosophy of physics.
I am currently an Associate Professor at Northeastern University London and a member of the Computational Philosophy Lab. I received a PhD from the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of California, Irvine, supervised by Dr. Cailin O'Connor and Dr. James Owen Weatherall, and received a PhD from the Department of High Energy Physics at University College London, where I was supervised by Dr. Mario Campanelli. I also have an M.Sc. from the Department of Logic and the Scientific Method at the London School of Economics, and an M.Phys. degree from the Department of Physics at the University of Oxford.
My Erdős number is ≤ 4: Paul Erdős → Persi Diaconis → Brian Skyrms → Cailin O'Connor → Me.
