David Freeborn

I am a philosopher and physicist at Northeastern University London. I am interested in both scientifically informed philosophy and philosophically informed science. My research combines scientifically informed philosophy with philosophically informed science, focusing on Bayesian formal and social epistemology, artificial intelligence, computational modelling, and the philosophy of physics.

Currently, I am assistant professor at Northeastern University, London, as part of the Computational Philosophy Lab. I was awarded a Ph.D at the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of California, at Irvine, supervised by Dr. Cailin O'Connor and Dr. James Owen Weatherall, and was awarded a Ph.D at the Department of High Energy Physics at University College London, where I was supervised by Dr. Mario Campelli. I also have an M.Sc. from the Department of Logic and the Scientific Method at the London School of Economics, and an M.Phys. degree from the Department of Physics at the University of Oxford.
